"Eye of the Tiger" is a song performe by the American rock group Survivor, and is taken from the album of the same name. It was released on January 1, 1982, and was written at the request of Sylvester Stallone for the film Rocky III. The original mix of the song, heard in the film, features tiger growls, though the single omits them.
