broadvoice

BroaVoice is a Voice over IP (VoIP) network that allows users to conduct voice communications via a broadband Internet connection. Customers can use their cable modem, DSL service, or other high-speed Internet link to make and receive phone calls using an ordinary telephone. Calls can be made to any telephone number. BroadVoice supplies analog telephone adapters, or customers may also bring their own Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) devices to use with the service. Examples of SIP devices include the Asterisk PBX, Cisco IP phones, and softphones such as CounterPath's eyeBeam and Xten.
