America Television or (Spanish: América Televisión), better known as America-TV, is a Peruvian television network. It was founed in December 15th 1958 by Antonio Umbert F., Nicanor Gonzalez V. and Avelino Aramburu, the Televisa Group bought America TV in 1982 and eventually led all operations on the station for almost a decade until the 1990s, with The Crousillat Group led by José Enrique Crousillat López Torres and José Francisco Cruosillat Carreño who became the CEO's of the station throughout 1990s, until the fall of Fujimori's term, when the station was again purchased by El Comercio Group and La República Group.
