Nonie Darwish (Arabic: نوني درويش) (born 1948) is an Egyptian-born American writer an public speaker. She is the author of the book Now they Call Me Infidel; Why I Renounced Jihad for America, Israel and the War on Terror. Her second book out in November 2008 is "Cruel And Usual Punishment: The Terrifying Global Effects of Sharia Law". She is also a public speaker and founder of Arabs for Israel. She states her mission is to "promote reconciliation, acceptance and understanding" between Israelis and Arabs.
